Promote, Perform, Proselytize–Filmed By Bike Call for Entries

The Bike Temple is proud to be a represented at this year's Filmed By Bike Jury. This is a wonderful way to spread the gospel of bicycle to the community, and show everyone your mad skills behind the lens. Spread the word!


CALL FOR ENTRIES: FILMED BY BIKE
The 8th Annual Filmed by Bike is a film festival showcasing independent bike-themed movies from around the world. Entries are limited to eight minutes in length.

HOW TO ENTER:

* Movies must have a bike theme

* See website for details and an application

* It is free to submit a movie

* Deadline is February 15, 2010


ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Since 2003, Filmed by Bike has brought a wildly creative array of bike-themed movies to the silver screen. The festival takes place every April in Portland, Oregon, USA, but entries come from around the world. The next festival is April 16-18, 2010 at the Clinton Street Theater. The festival features nine screenings and an opening night street party.

    Hmmm, religious bike movies?

    How about:
    * Bike Temple's abridged version of "The 10 Commandments" with pestillences for car drivers? Moses could shout "let the bicyclists go!"

    * Film the next "Monogamous Sects" ride, as we hit JWs or Humanist services or something.

    * Public blessing of the bikes?

    * Mass bike wedding?

    * Testimonials -- do a 1-2 min clip on different bicycle believers "Why I Believe"

    * ???
