A New Take on the Bicycle Lord's Prayer

Back in may we presented to you the Bicycle Lord's Prayer, passed on from generation to generation throughout the bike community. Today we have unearthed a new version, for your consideration, authored by our good friend and brother, Curt Dewees.

The Cyclist's Prayer

Our Father, who art in Heaven,

Fausto Coppi be thy name.

Chris Kingdom come.

Thy will be done,

On earth, as it is in Holland.

Give us this day our Voodoo donut.

And forgive us our stop-sign violations,

As we forgive those who violate stop signs against us.

And lead us not into car doors.

But deliver us from evil.

For thine is the Chris King headset,

and the power, and the glory,

for ever and ever.

Amen.
