It's been quiet here on the blog, largely because myself, Deacon Amos and Kernal Loose Nut are all moving at some point during the month.
The Temple has had a few activities --
* Work party Saturday Aug 15th, we set up a few things in the basement of the Lotus Seed, it's getting closer to being a place where we can build religious equipment, and we're authorized to do services in the sanctuary and such.
* Sunday Parkways, Aug 16th -- a good day for us,
- Halley on the Harp,
- the Milliped (Shrine on a diet) on display on used for short jaunts,
- pillows instead of pews (easier to haul around),
- a mini-shrine by Halley with a painting, prayer flags and mirrors,
- and a visitor from Arcata CA giving out Parisian rear-view mirrors,
* Various pilgrims from other Bike Churches have passed through, including
- Rabbi McCorkle from the Davis Bike Church
- Minister Congleton and Father Van Gelder from the Davis Bike Church
- Russell from Vancouver BC (where Pasture Ted and Russell first started dreaming big about a Bicycle Religion in about 2000) (photo), and
- Davis Bike Church friend Morgan K, now from the East Bay Bicycle Collectivo.
I'm looking forward to more events in September (though probably fewer pilgrims :^(
Yours in The Faith,
Pasture Ted
